Blood is composed of four primary components: red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma, and platelets. Platelets are responsible for cell growth and regeneration. Platelet-rich plasma is highly concentrated with platelets that secrete growth factors and naturally stimulates rejuvenation and the collagen production process.

The process involves 3 steps:

Step 1: Blood is drawn

Step 2: Blood is spun in a centrifuge in order to separate the plasma and the red blood cells.

Step 3: Platelet-rich plasma is drawn into a syringe and injected or applied while microneedling.

Hair Restoration with PRP

PRP therapy works by injecting platelets into the scalp. When these platelets reach the bottom of the hair follicle, they can stimulate the production of dermal papilla cells and encourage hair growth.
